The Muppets

I saw the Muppet today, and basically it was about how t.v. now a days is just full of random stuff that everyone has basically forgotten who The Muppet's are. Jason Segal actually wrote some of this movie and he did an awesome job, it was too funny..

FINISHED

I have finally finished my two books for English, now all I have to do is write my essays. Which I don't think will be to hard considering the fact that not only did I fully read the books but my sister who is a huge Shakespeare fanatic helped me understand certain things. I have started the Hunger Games and am on like Chapter 17... I can't put the book down, Dona don't be suprised if I come to school Wednesday telling you I've finished the whole book.... It's just too good!

Hoodwinked Too

This movie was ridiculously funny. I loved the first Hoodwinked with Anne Hathaway but this one had Hayden Paniterre [sorry if I spelled her last name wrong] Anyway, this movie was so funny, especially with all the hidden context in it that my younger brothers would laugh at with us but I don't think they fully understood why we were laughing. I liked Anne Hathaway better as Red Riding Hood... Hayden's voice just didn't sound....right? I don't know how to put it. But everything else was pretty darn funny. The guy who played Leo in "That 70's Show" was in it and of course every line he had, had the word "man" after it.... Hopefully you understand how funny that is, and that you've seen That 70's Show...

First full day

Today we spent it chillening at my family's house just kind of lazily hanging around doing crossword puzzles, playing video games, running errands and just enjoying each others complany. Only down side of this trip is I have to finish Hamlet and write my essays for the two English books that are due Tuesday January 3rd. It's a good thing I am a fast reader. Love being here with family.... it's gonna suck when we leave... I have school the next day - hahahahaa

LEAVING TODAY

So today we leave for Cleveland, since there are three drivers we take shifts. I go to the line since I don't have my provisionals left, my dad goes from the line to Ohio and my sister completes the trip. It got kind of rough her and there with my mom... especially considering she is the worst back seat driver ever. Anyway other then me driving to the line, I usually stop driving when my mom shouts "I NEED TO SMOKE!" Insulting? A little but whatever. It's not like I'm an awful driver but it was consideraly hard with the wind going 27 mph on the highway...

Packing Day

Today is all about packing and last minute laundry. I can't wait to leave for Cleveland, my Winter Break finally starts tomorrow! Is it weird that I actually enjoy packing? I don't know what it is that makes it sort of fun! Anyway, today I spent my day making my packing list, packing, and watching Pirates of the Carribean 4 over and over... Got to tire it out somehow, hahaha. Anyway, can't wait to leave tomorrow, it's gonna be a blast.

Laundry day.

It's laundry day, we are preparing for our big trip to Bayvillage, Ohio. I mentally have to prepare for this trip, mostly because I end up staying awake till like 6 in the morning and not waking up till like 3, I tend to get off my natural sleep cycle. Can't wait. Only downside is all this darn laundry that needs to be done... But whatever.

Christmas!

It's Christmas. Merry Christmas! I got some amazing things, my phone which was an early gift, a DS, some games and Pirates 4. Then around 11:45 we left to go to some fancy smancy resturant with my Aunt. My Aunt ended up giving me a magazine, a pretty braclet, Aveeno and Dr.G lotion... that's my Aunt for ya but I love her anyway. Next two days are gonna get busy... Laundry and packing. Laundry and Packing.

Christmas Eve

It does not feel like Christmas Eve, its too sunny outside! Today went by really fast though.. Isaac also has been obsessed with norad tracking Santa, I kind of hop he never finds out Santa isn't real.... I'll feel so bad! It's cookie cooking time! Can't wait for tomorrow morning!

Oh all these books and so little time

So I got two books from Mr.Taylor to read for break and then was told I need to write at least a paragraph about... something. I'm emailing Taylor ASAP on what I need to write about. I really wanna get these books done not only just because I'm going somewhere Wednesday but I kind of wanna start reading The Hunger Games. I have to read [for Taylor] Hamlet and Rosencrantz and Guildenstein are dead. It isn't that I don't wanna read them its just I wish there was more time to it, oh whatever. It's school.

Blood Drive

Though the Blood Drive was Wednesday, I felt the need to blog about it. It was actually kind of fun. Liz and I worked the food table while Jordan worked the front table for sign ins. Liz and I ended up just kind of "chillening" and talking to Mr.Soler. Not a lot of people showed up for this which kind of stinks but it was still kind of fun. I got to miss first period! Hahahaha.

TABB

T- The main think I took away from Lindsey was how she felt about leaving her close knit family. I too have a close knit family, we go out to family dinners all the time, we go to Cleveland together. We do stuff together basically.

A-I already took "action" when I decided to apply to states that have family in it. I also took measure to apply to Ohio, main state where I basically spent my summers growing up.

B-I can't think of a barrier when it comes to this. Maybe being that I may end up more homesick then I think I'll be...

B-My main benefit will be becoming what I want to become, a teacher. That is my goal. And going through everything and succeeding will be my biggest accomplishment.

My new "kick"

So I changed my new "kick' from being Charmed to my first season of Vampire Diaries, something to commemorate the fact that the amazing season 3 is returning January 5th, so excited! I can't wait for the third season mostly because the season is coming to an amazing turn of events. Stefan who was just released from Klaus basically kidnaps all of Klaus' caskets which hold basically Klaus' whole family, all of the original vampires. Some "stuff" is about to go down in Mystic Falls!

BIG SISTER IS HOME

My sister is home today! My big sister is home! Now it is all six of us, again. Just hope that she doesn't destroy the house, which usually happens. But whatever, we end up cleaning up after big sis, oh well. Story of my life, ya know? Just excited that she is home for Christmas and all, being that it is such a family holiday. I personally think I am overly excited for Christmas this year and the whole family aspect of it all... but mostly because its just my last Christmas actually being home, I can't wait!

Astrology

Astrology is something I really believe in, horoscopes and all. I actually looked up the meaning behind my sign, which is Scorpio. What facinates me most about Scorpians are that in a time of distress Scorpians stab themselves with their tail. But also, what I find amazing is that when a Scorpian loses its tail, it can grow a new one. As a Scorpian, we are sensitive, feeling and have very good instincts. We are stabilized, determined, have depth, persistant, powerful, willful, inflexible, rigid, stubborn, opinionated, single-minded and need to always be right. Which is basically me to the "T". Our "sign" rulers are Pluto [god of wealth and riches] and the co-ruler being Mars [associated with confidence, self assertion, energy, strength, ambition, and impulsivness]The cestial body of the astrological sign Scorpio is Venus. This is all me to the "T". If only there was a class I could take on Astrology and Mythology..

Psychology Homework

Today is all about doing as much Psychology vocabualary as possible so I don't have to worry about it over break. I'm doing some today, some tomorrow and then the 26th and 27th I will put it all in my psychology notebook. Hopefully I'll get a lot done today. So I don't have to do a lot tomorrow. Also, hopefully I'll be able to do my nails too, hahaha.

Candy canes/ Countdown

Its almost candy cane time! I actually bought some from Rite Aid. Two boxes for $5!! I love candy canes. Especially when their colorful - and not the regular peppermint ones. The ones I bought are Willy Wonka ones. Yumm! I've only eaten one, though, but I think I'll give some to the people I'm giving Christmas cards too and the others I'll either eat myself OR I'll put it on the tree.

Today is number 9. Which means Christmas is almost here!!!!!!!! Can't wait!

Doctor Appt

So today I was late to school because I had a doctor's appt for a shot. I decided to drive with my dad there. I hate Maryland drivers. Mostly because I was trying to get into the lane for my exit and some car came out on NO WHERE [my dad didn't even see it and he looks too when I'm changing lanes] I almost hit the car. Then I missed my exit, had to take another exit to basically turn around and traffic was a mess too! I hate Maryland drivers, too aggressive for my liking.

MOM IS HOME

My mom comes home today! Thank god. She was actually trying to stay longer but she said that she missed us too much and wanted to come home. Thank god she did come home. it helps to have someone else at home to cleans and does laundry too. So glad she is home today. So glad I don't have to skip my naps and help Isaac with his homework.. NAPS HERE I COME!

My day off

So today I took a time out from school, something that was definitly needed. You know when you push yourself to the extreme you end up running out of energy and being incredibly tired. I just needed a break. It also helped that I wasn't feeling good either. So today, I spent my dad watching Criminal Minds and Psych on my computer, I also ordered out from my favorite place getting my favorite food and getting a nice soda to settle my stomach. This day was needed. I feel so much better with the break I took. Thank you dad for letting me have this day off, it was needed. Especially for my sanity.

New Obsession

So I go through these weird phases where I find these facebook games and then they become, basically, my obsession. My new one is a Vampire Diaries game on facebook. Actually thanks to all my status' on facebook about Vampire Diaries the game found me. It's actually incredibly fun, you go around just finding things and doing these "missions". Kinda helps when I'm insanely bored and want to play some game. Just wish the DS had a game like this too, hahahaha.

Grocery Shopping Day

Today I spent majority of it making a grocery list, doing laundry and cleaning the fridge out. It was long, boring, and tiresome. I can't wait to have my mom home; have someone help me out with all of this. Anyway. Today was also kind of awful because my "abdomen" pain came back. Which meant that on top of everything going on I was in the worst mood ever. Even driving to target and giant killed me, of course not literally, thank god for Coke. Its the only thing that ever truly helps me when my abdomen helps, which is kind of weird. I also bought Christmas cards for people. Figured I should do something nice this year... =]

Countdown/Babysitting

So I have this app on my phone that gives me a countdown of Christmas. Yes I know I am very lame for it but I am just full of excitment. I can't wait for christmas this year. It's not just about those presents [though they aren't bad at all] but I love the family sense of the holiday. Also on Christmas day we are going to this fancy brunch place.

NOW TODAY BEING THE 10th. I have a very busy busy day. I have these blogs to fix up, I have psychology homework to start AND on top of that I got a whole lotta laundry to do today. Oh did I mention I'm babysitting from 7-midnight? Yeah... Its gonna be a long day =[

Interim reports-2nd qrt.

Today we got our interim's.... I'm not proud of mine but I'm trying this new thing were I don't freak out and burst into tears when I don't like my grade. I think that's better on the mind and body, healthier. My only bad grade is in Psychology; its a D. Now my main problem is that his class moves incredibly fast. It's hard to keep up and this class requires extreme organization. I'm trying so hard but its a lotta work. Also I have a problem with my phone.. It's brand new so its kind of hard to keep it "away" but I've decided from now on during fourth period my phone is completely off and away. I'll turn it back on while on the bus. I gotta push through this, I am not keeping this D but I'm not going to freak out about it anymore.

Madre

Me madre left today. She is going to Ohio from today till the 14th. She went because her sister Marcia wanted to have a driving buddy when going to Missiouri. So my mom is staying in Ohio for I think about one to two days then Missiouri [its a two day drive] then my Uncle Dean is driving her up to the airport and she is coming home. It's actually kind of funny. My mom comes home the 14th, my sister comes home the 15th, and then we having Dinner with my Aunt and Uncle the 16th. Busy. Busy. Busy.

Charmed/DVD Player

I have a lot of technology stuff.. Mostly because I stay in my room doing homework, sleeping and with all my technology I can either play games on my laptop or watch one of my many DVDs on my DVD player. Whenever I get kind of bored I try to find something to watch in my cupboard. Whenever I can't find anything I watch Charmed. I love this show, one of the main things that has gotten me into magic. Anyway. With Charmed Shannon Doherty as amazing of an actress she is, sometimes Charmed was all about her character AND her sisters [but mostly her character] I personally like Piper,Phoebe and Paige. But Piper is my favorite, her powers and her relationship with Leo. I have all eight seasons of Charmed, one year I was dog sitting [for a whole year] for a neighbor- I got about $40 a week for two dogs and though I put some away I used a lot of it to buy all eight seasons [which totaled to about $80 plus tax] I love Charmed. Love the magic of the show. And I love the humor in it.

School Bus

Ugh, so I had a pretty good day today. But I hate when I have to ride the bus. I like having my own seat on my bus, I'm the first stop which means if I have my own seat I can get out first and get out quickly. But today some chick decided to pick my stuff up off the seat and sit down. I was irritated about that but then my irritation got even worse because this chick had some rockin' B.O. I was not happy to have to smell all of that even if the bus ride was like 5 minutes. Ugh.

Chinese Food

It's takeout night! We decided to order out Chinese Food.. mostly because Chinese food can last a couple days in our house [LEFT OVERS] Every time we order Chinese I always get orange chicken... The only problem is is that Orange chicken and Rice is really all I eat and everyone wants to eat the orange chicken.. Which I don't think is that fair... Anyway. We got a Christmas gift with our food and me madre let me keep it =] It is a wall decal that has 2012 calendar on it.

TREE DECORATION

Today we decorated the tree. I love decorating the tree because I love seeing all the ornaments I got when I was little. I have the one I got when I was a baby, my Wizard of Oz one, Sleeping beauty [sadly I lost my little 3 fairies with it] and finally I have Cinderella! I think I have more but we only found 3 boxes of ornaments... My dad may have to look for it- mostly because we have fragile things in our storage part of the basement and my brothers are tornados. Anyway. I love decorating the tree the only problem is all our ornaments go with "big" trees and this years tree is a little smaller then our other ones. I love getting fresh trees, it makes our house smell like Christmas! OH and I forgot to mention my Harry Potter ornament, and my Ballerina ornament sadly though she lost one of her feet...

It's Christmas time.

Today we went to get a Christmas tree, usually we get it a week or two before Christmas, but because my mom is going on a trip the 8th till the 14th she wanted to get it done sooner. I can't wait for Christmas, my sister is coming home [again] and I'm just excited about it this year. Especially considering, now try to follow me, we had an two A day weeks and one B day before Christmas break! Christmas break is two Sundays from this Sunday [if that makes any sense]. I'm excited I actually enjoy holidays like this with my family.

Stupid Dentist

This morning was awful. First off I got to the dentist at 7:50, then got into the dentist chair at 8:05, then had to wait till 8:15 for the dentist to come in then from 8:15 to about 9:05 he came in and out of my room working on my teeth. Then when I got out of the chair around 9:20 because I had to do x-rays , I had to sit in the waiting room and wait for my dad because he had my brothers at their orthodontist appts. Then I had to wait for my dad to take my brothers back to school then come and get me. All the while having my obnoxious 13yr old brother text me "trololol" OMG, I wanted to hit him- it was ridiculous. He kept telling me he was only doing it because I was trying to text my dad and find out when he would get me. The boy is unbelieveably obnoxious. can't stand the child- ugh.

It finally came

So I have known for a while that I got into University of Toledo, but I recently got an email about it so I told my mom to watch for anything in the mail. When I got home I got my acceptance letter! Actually it was more like an acceptance flyer. Yeah, I know that sounds weird but what the hey, that is basically what I got. That's two colleges down. Except this one offered me the Tower Scholar Award in the amount of $10,120. In order to keep this money though I have to maintain a 3.0 on a 4.0 scale and complete a minimum of 30 credit hours each year [fall/spring semesters] I can get this money all 4 years if I complete the above!

AVID Class 11/29

So Carney told us to blog about how we are feeling about going to college and mostly all I feel is excitement! I mean I can't wait to be able to go out on my own and live my own life. But I am nervous, I have a problem with "drowning in homework" it gets to a point where I just have so much I feel like I can't breath. Will College be like that? That is what I am scared of, that and not standing out. I don't want professors to remember me as a number. I'm excited to go to college, I can't wait for the new experience.

IT'S HERE

MY NEW PHONE IS HERE! It's an amazing phone. I finally upgraded from the phone I had since sophomore year to an amazing new phone. I finally feel like I've entered the 21st century with my beautiful touchscreen! The only problem is that the screen needs to be wiped down after using it so all those ugly fingerprints don't ruin my beautiful phone. It is my early Christmas gift and I am so loving it. I love this phone, So excited to have a new one!

catching up

Today is all about catching up on homework. I can't keep up with this falling behind. I'm slipping up. My sister also left today... But she's coming home in two weeks, hahhaha. Sigh, all this homework makes me feel like I'm drowning. It's getting ridiculous. Teachers: can you give us a little teeny tiny break- I need some breathing room. I'm exhausted from all this homework. And don't get me started on my psychology class. That class I am definitly drowning in - he's just moving so fast its so hard to keep up with! I need to go into overdrive this quarter. But I would also love some time to catch my breath =[ It's overdrive time.

ACCEPTANCE

I HAVE BEEN OFFICIALLY ACCEPTED TO UNIVERSITY OF AKRON! I HAVE THE FOLDER WITH ALL THE INFORMATION IN MY HAND IT IS OFFICIAL I AM OFFICIALLY ACCEPTED INTO A COLLEGE! I CAN NOW SAY THAT I HAVE AN ACCEPTANCE LETTER/FOLDER IN MY POSSESSION ALL OF MY STRESS IS GONE sike. I NEED TO KEEP FOCUSED RIGHT NOW AND NOT SCREW THIS UP O.M.G I AM SO EXCITED!

Thanksgiving

So at 11 I went to my aunt and uncle's house to have Thanksgiving dinner as always- I also got to see my doggy! We sat down, watched the game[s] and then at 4 when my other aunt came over we sat down, ate dinner, argued about politics [because it wouldn't be an O'Brien family dinner without one] and then my sister and I helped my uncle get his art website up and running. I had a good thanksgiving dinner, my sisterr made some vegan brownies and we sat and caught up with everyone. My Aunt even gave me and my sister this really cute shirt for our birthday...

WEDNESDAY

Sadly, I don't have any pictures of the foodrag but it was so much fun- it was the best EVER! I had so much fun and sadly ate too much to, it got to a point where I just got to lazy to get up and get food, hahahaha. Then after the food rag I went to the Honor Roll assembly, I enjoyed it, it went by really fast [every year it usually takes forever] and I liked the certificate but it was as detailed as it used to be, oh well! I had a lot of fun Wednesday. I had a lotta fun Wednesday- ended up taking a huge nap and then went to Don Pablos with my family- yum yum yum... LOVED today, had an amazing day.

Making of my food rag

So I spent from 5-8 working on all of my food rag, I know you think that dipping pretzels into some form of chocolate and sprinkles isn't difficult but it is, and after doing it fifty billion times can get a bit stressful. It was annoying especially when my sister, brothers and mother kept asking to eat some. This was insanely difficult to do, keeping the vultures away. I just wanted everything to turn out good, and hopefully it will tomorrow.
