Percy Jackson Book 3

So this is probably one of my favorite books in the whole Percy Jackson series. My favorite character Zoe Nightshade and Thalia Grace are in it! They are both all about feminine power and being tough and not letting any man stand in their ways. They are the main reason I choose to do the goddess Artemis for my doodle for google. All about empowerment and toughness. Which is what I hope to do and be like throughout life.

English Homework

So Mr.Taylor asked us to do 40 note cards by Friday. That isn't really that difficult but again... this homework is probably tedious. I actually enjoy doing research papers, it is just the work leading up the the research paper that is really difficult. All the research and writing all the source cards down and numbering all the cards. Sheesh just saying it all and typing it all makes it sound tiring. Sigh...

Schoolwork

School work has been getting completely tedious. I am so tired and all the work is being to become exhausted. It's seriously gotten to the point where its hard to actually get the work done. Ya know, I used to be so good and so fast at doing all my work and all my homework. But lately it has been hard and tough and I have just been completely tired. Oh school work. Why can't you be easier?

The Finder

So today I started watching the new show, The Finder. He came out/forward in a Bones episode and I guess he was just really funny and got a lotta ratings for Bones that they wanted to give him his own show. I'm glad they did though, this guy is really cool, really clever and apparently his "finder ability" comes from brain damage he got from Iraq. How weirdly cool is that!? Anyway this show is awesome, totally recommend it.

Lazy Day

So today all I did was lay in bed watching a bunch of tv shows, again on xfinity online. I watched the regular CSI, NCIS and I tried to watch NCIS: LA but honestly the acting was just awful. Just awful. Thank god Catherine left, she wasn't my favorite. I love Tony, McGee, Abby, Ziva and Jethero. Their partnerships with each other are hilarious, and amazing. NCIS: LA though is just bad. The acting is just awful, sorry Elizabeth. But I seriously disliked the show. Loved everything else I watched, just despised NCIS: LA.

Scholarships and Laundry.. Welcome to my Saturday

Today everything consisted of laundry and scholarships. I got five done, almost finished six including doodle for google that'll make seven. I'm kind of excited. I have to admit though, I picked the simple easy scholarships, mostly because writing essays are annoying and hard. Anyway, while doing scholarships I also did my typical laundry, typical Saturday. Sadly though people in my house continue to put dirty laundry in the hampers after I finish the laundry.. Sigh.

CSI Miami

Today I watched the rest of CSI Miami... at least all the episodes on xfinity tv. Personally, this is one of my favorite CSI shows. Mostly because I liked the "characters" in the show... especially Horatio. He is cool though he is very monotone; wish he had more umph to his voice. But its cool. Love watching them find the killers and decipher the killer and how the killed, it is so cool! Love CSI Miami... though due to the kills I would never go there hahaha.

Irony

So the funniest thing happened to me and my family today. This morning my dad and I were talking about how old our White Mini Van "Angel" was and how our old cars all died and then I got home from school today only to find out the Angel's engine gave out and not only did she need a jump start to get my mom home but right now my dad is out looking for another car... It's just ironic. My dad was talking about how she got us through a tough time and I think that is what that car was meant for. She was meant to help us through a rough patch.

Vampire Diaries season 2

I just finished re watching Season 2 of The Vampire Diaries. I think this was the best one so far.. I mean season 3 has gotten intense but I absolutely loved Season 2. Not only the story line but also the characters story lines got like crazy intense. I've never watched a TV show over and over again and end up wondering what happens next [even though I know] and feeling my heart pump in my chest because I am shocked and amazed. Such an amazing show. All of season 2 still blows my mind.

It's the ELDERLY

So at first I wasn't going to go but like always Liz convinced me to go and I had the best time. I don't like visiting the elderly because they are soo cute and I feel so bad that they are about to die. This place was so fancy! The food was like 5 courses piled on to one plate and I never get full but I didn't even scratch the surface with the food and I got full. Then the strawberry shortcake was delicious. I think the best part was not only watching people dance and have a good time but watching the elderly people dance and enjoy themselves.

This book...

So I don't know how many times I have read Percy Jackson and the Lightning Theif but every time I read it I get more suprised, shocked, and excited for the rest of the series still. I haven't read it as many times as I've read Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows but it is one of the main books I just can't stop reading. Love love love reading about Greek Mythology.

My Sunday...

So today I woke up and the first thing I did was shower. Then I made Ramen noodles and started watching Teen Mom 2. I actually finished all my homework today! Or at least all the homework that is due tomorrow... Haven't even started my Psychology vocab, I will though... I plan on starting my psych homework, taking a nap and fixing my ugly chipped nails because they are really bugging me!!

Alyssa's Family

Tonight I went to Alyssa's sister's Amber's birthday party. It was really fun... I forgot how fun it is going over to her house and hanging with her family... They are hilarious. Anyway, we celebrated her sister's birthday and she made this really cool like power point of her life and then her and a bunch of people were like dancing... and it was just really hilarious.

MOVIES

So tonight, Nick and I went to see Journey 2 The Mysterious Island. May I just say I really enjoyed it?! Josh Hutcherson, Vanessa Hudgens, and "The Rock" were in it. I liked the first Journey movie and from the way this one ended it looks like there may be a third one. What I wonder is if the stories they use in the movies actually are like what it looks like in the movies.. Yes I know that is weird to say but that is what I think. Anyway after that movie ended we went to see the rest of Big Miracle... Which was actually really good. Though I don't think its gonna make a lotta money... It hasn't been out for very long and when we walked into the theater there were like five people in the theater... That movie was really good.

Teen Mom 16 and Pregnant

So lately I can't stop watching 16 and pregnant and Teen Mom. These shows are oddly entertaining. The stories these moms/teens say actually make me not want to get pregnant as a teenager... hahaha. But then lately I've gotten this weird dream where I have this little girl named Phoebe Ann yet I don't know who the father is or what her last name is... isn't that odd? I blame the tv shows hahahaha.

Guess what I got!

I got a bed frame! My bed is not on the ground anymore and I am so happy! My mattresses have been on the floor for like a year now... I mean I was able to just flap on my bed whenever I felt extremely tired and now I can't do it. My bed frame makes my room look cool hahahahahaha. I'm so happy about my new bed frame!!! I couldn't stop talking about it all day....

The eyes are watching God

You know this book is okay... Its good and all but the way "Jody" treats "Janie" upsets me. It upsets me even more that she is okay with it. I mean honestly telling her to just not talk, yelling at her when she makes a simple mistake... Omg dude! Sharee said it was the times but ya know what! Forget the times, honestly. Why would anyone let anyone talk to them like that!? Ya know its just still ridiculous for a women to be treated like that... it irks me that she lets that happen to her.

I hate my teenage daughter

I hate my teenage daughter is hilarious! These parents are just so funny and the fact that these daughters are just horrible to their parents make it so much funnier. The jokes that go on in the show are pretty simple to get but that makes them so much funnier. The best part of the show so far is when one mom says to her daughter something about being her bff and the daughter days she was never her bff and the mom like dies on the floor... hahahahaha!

My daddy's birthday

It is my daddy's "twenty second daddy appreciation day". We didn't do a lot... He mostly just watched the game throughout the day. We even actually managed to get cake for him and instead of happy birthday we said daddy appreciation day hahaha. He then blew out his Darth Vadar candle and we sat down and ate cake. My family is pretty funny...

Boy scouts dinner

Tonight was a Boy Scout dinner thing. I love going to those things because the food is FREE! I loveee free food... mostly because its FREE food. Anyway it was a really cool night we watched a slideshow of the past year. Did I mention that I love these events because of the free food? hahaha.

Angry

So people made me so angry today. I was seriously like completely shaking with anger it was ridiculous. I don't get angry easily... I get annoyed easily but making me angry is something really hard to do. I'm not going to get into why I got mad or who the people are but oh my god I got ridiculously mad today!

College knowledge

So tonight was kind of fun. It was nice to see all the juniors actually getting involved with college things. I was talking to a couple parents and they just kept asking about me and my college decisions. I actually enjoyed myself sitting there watching kids and parents walk around. I hope juniors got a lot outta the night.

Order of the Pheonix

So I just finished Order of the Pheonix, and may I just say that my heart got crushed all over again ahahaha. Sirius Black tells Harry that when everything is over they will become a family, and then his cousin Bellatrix Lestrange kills him after he calls Harry, James. I mean my heart broke all over again. I mean seriously J.K Rowling do ya have to write stuff like that to break all your fans heart? And OH MY GOD! How did Harry manage to keep fighting after that? WOW.
